The SEABIM® Software

SEABIM®, an automated Scan to BIM process, is a solution patented by ID OCEAN that enables the creation of a 3D as-built model of rubble-mound breakwater protective layer made of precast concrete armor units (such as Accropode™, Xbloc®, Core-Loc™, BCR, Cubipod, tetrapod, etc.) from a point cloud acquired on site.

It's the ideal tool for quick, detailed, and optimized analysis during both construction and asset management phases.

Who are We ?

ID OCEAN is a French company specializing in coastal structure inspection. It was founded in 2017 by two engineers specialized in maritime works, and later joined in 2019 by an engineer specialized in computer vision.

Our innovative solution, SEABIM®, has been developed since 2019 as part of the construction project for the breakwaters of the New Coastal Road in Reunion Island. It has since been applied to numerous breakwater construction and asset management projects internationally.
