Fishing Port – Sultanate of Oman

At the end of 2021, we conducted a high-resolution bathymetric survey and a complete 3D modeling of a breakwater in the Sultanate of Oman. This breakwater, composed of 32,000 Core-Loc™ blocks ranging from 1 to 6 cubic meters, protects a new industrial fishing port developed on the country's Indian Ocean coas

For this mission, we air-freighted our equipment dedicated to breakwater bathymetric surveys. Our team of experts installed the survey pole on a vessel provided by the client and completed the data acquisition in three days. We also supervised the drone photogrammetric survey conducted by a local surveying company. The 3D model was then created back at the office within three weeks.

This digital twin of the structure enabled the engineering firm responsible for certifying the block placement to approve the structure built by a local public works company
