Port of Sainte-Rose
We realized the 3D model Sainte-Rose fishing port breakwater for asset management purposes. Indeed, this 1000-block ACCROPODE™ I breakwater built in the year 2000 had not been monitored by regular inspections until now while it is subjected to strong cyclonic swells.
The port infrastructure manager therefore asked us to carry out a complete state of the structure which will serve as a baseline for future inspections.
To do so, we first performed a high-resolution multibeam bathymetry of the structure and supervised a drone photogrammetric survey performed by a partner company. From this data, the 3D model of the structure was generated in a few days to identify its singularities (broken blocks, risk of block extraction). An inspection dive to control the singularities identified in the 3D model was carried out in addition by our team of professional HSE scuba divers.
The analysis of the armour layer condition was carried out by a partner coastal engineering firm.
